Joey Gase will be returning to the NASCAR Xfinity Series (previously Nationwide) in 2015 with Jimmy Means Racing. In 2014, Joey and the team finished 20th in driver points, which is the best points finish for the team. Gase also recorded an individual and team best finish of 11th at Talladega, despite the engine blowing up at the line.
“I am excited to be running the full Xfinity season again with Jimmy Means Racing,” said Gase. “Last year was a record breaking season for us with minimum funding. We successfully made both of our goals, which were to finish top 20 in driving points, and to keep the team locked in the top 30 of owner points. Our goals in 2015 will be to finish in the top 20 in driver points once again and to get the team our first top 10 finish.”
Gase has partnered up with Db Sales Company, www.finddieselengines.com, and multiple Donate Life organizations for sponsorship throughout the 2015 season. The team is still working hard on securing a primary full time sponsor for the 2015 season, along with more single and multirace primary and associate sponsors.
The first green flag of the season will drop February 21st at Daytona International Speedway.
