In his first ever race at the famed “Lady in Black” raceway in Darlington, SC, on Friday night, Joey Gase picked up a “stripe” after coming in contact with the wall and managed a 26th place finish. Gase started 32nd and steadily moved up through the pack in the race. The “Darlington Stripe” is a badge of honor on the NASCAR circuit and despite making contact with the wall and running his tires “down to the cords” Gase was pleased with the way the car ran and the way his pit crew performed.
Gase next takes to the track on April 25 at the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway. Click the links below for the race recap and results.
