Baltazar Leguizamon Joins Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen in the #35 at COTA

Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen confirmed today the signing of Argentinian driver Baltazar Leguizamon to compete for them in the No. 35 car at COTA on March 1, 2025.

Baltazar Leguizamon, a former F3 winner, will pilot the No. 35 and be the first ever Argentinian to make a NASCAR Xfinity Series start.

''I’m very proud to get this opportunity,” said Leguizamon. “Being the first Argentinian driver in history making his first race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, very thankful to Joey Gase Motorsports to work on a deal for me to drive the Chevrolet Camaro number 35, Team Chevy, sponsors and all NASCAR fans supporting this project! I'm very excited to start the 2025 season at COTA!”

“We are thrilled to have Baltazar in our car at COTA and hope we can have him in the seat for many more races,” said Gase. “He is a great talent and is looking forward to the COTA race weekend.”
